Research Professor or Postdoctoral Fellow in Software Security and/or Machine Learning
Salary: 30,000,000–42,000,000 (Korean Won) per year, depending on qualifications.
We have an open position for a research professor or postdoctoral fellow at Seclab, at the Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon, Republic of Korea. One project will require the research professor or post-doctoral fellow to manage a new project. The research professor or postdoctoral fellow will also work closely with several PhD and Masters students as they conduct research in software security and/or machine learning for system software and user authentication.
The successful candidate will have substantial prior training in software security or machine learning. All the applicants are required to have good programming experience in any programming language.
The research professor or postdoctoral researcher is expected to work closely with the principal investigator, coordinate project activities, work with graduate students on the various projects, and be productive, highly organized, independent, and creative. We are looking specifically for a self-starter who is able to organize the research and lead the student researchers. Therefore, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical. Experience with collaborative research projects is beneficial. The successful candidate is expected to publish in international conferences and journals with the team of researchers on the project.
